What’s up World!
One of my goals this year is to book at least three shows a month. If I can do more than three then that would be awesome! I have a year of stand up under my belt, which is like going from Kindergarten to 1st Grade in the stand-up world.
As I learn more about stand-up comedy and the hustle of it all, I’ve come to the realization that you have to put in at least (minimum) 7-10 years. 10 YEARS! And after those ten years, there isn’t any guarantee that you’ll make it to the big stage. You really have to work hard on your craft and market yourself. With technology and social media today, you have the ability to create a platform, build an audience and fan base, and distribute your own content without the help of an agent or Hollywood. But the road is tough.
As a Sacramento comedian, I will be branching out to other cities for shows and to build relationships with bookers/promoters with hopes of becoming a regular on shows and building a fan base in other places than just Sacramento. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Sacramento fans so much but you need fans in other cities.
YouTube
One of my biggest goals is to build fans through my YouTube content that I will be creating this year. There are millions of people on YouTube this very second and if I can grab 1% of those people to my channel that would be great. I also plan to work with other comedians to develop a web series and sketch comedies for all to enjoy.
Do you have a YouTube channel? I’d love to support you with a SUBSCRIBE!
NEXT SHOW
Here is a flyer for my next show in Pittsburg, California at the Brew HaHa Cafe on January 8, 2013. I’m so excited to share the stage with great comedians from the Bay Area.
If you live in the Bay Area, then come out for a good show. I’d love to meet you and make you laugh…or at least try.
Until next time…

That’s awesome man! It’s cool that you’re DOING it.
When I get back to Milwaukee, I could help you setup a show out there if you feel like traveling.
