If you are looking at this page then you are probably curious to know who I am. You are probably curious to hear how I grew up in a single parent household in downtown Sacramento, California, beat the odds of drugs, gangs, jail, poverty and teen parenthood. Or how I was raised on Welfare. Maybe even how my family and I shared a peanut butter and toast dinner one year for Thanksgiving.
Althought, I am not happy about being raised in a low-income community as a child, I am proud of the life experiences and skills I’ve learned. I am now a 6’6″ 27 years old, married (no kids just yet!), a part-time college student and a full-time employee with a school district…which is very GOOD! It’s actually GREAT! I am a Site Coordinator for an After-School Program for high school students.I am not on drugs, behind bars or even dead (victim of violence). I am a living breathing young man with a mission. What is that mission you ask? I don’t know, but I know God has kept me on this earth to do his will.
